The client — a local nonprofit — sought to maximize the potential of their half-acre property by building a highly efficient, fully electric, and universally accessible ADU. Their priorities were clear: long-term durability, low operating costs, and a fossil-fuel-free footprint, all while maintaining sensitivity to the surrounding neighborhood
While still underway, the project is already proving itself as a model for future-forward housing — merging accessibility, sustainability, and smart design in one compact footprint. With framing, rough MEPs, and airtight detailing complete, the ADU is tracking to meet both performance goals and client expectations.
